Vigan airport reopens for commercial flights

Platinum Skies, controlled by former governor Luis “Chavit” Singson, will open flights between Manila and Vigan starting Friday. Flights between Vigan and Batanes on the country’s northern tip will start in April. From 2009, the airport had operated only with private flights.
