MANILA, Philippines – The Alphaland City Club of businessman Roberto Ongpin is bullish on its prospects this year, banking on the country’s robust economic growth.

Nicholas “Nic” Belasco, general manager of Alphaland City Club, said in an interview the City Club Alphaland Makati Place expects more clients in its multi-million executive facility with a total gross floor area of three hectares.

“We have a lot of room for growth especially with the country’s booming economy,” he said.

According to Belasco, the company now has 900 members that could go up to as high as 2,000.

Belasco, a multi-titled professional basketball player, said the City Club is like a resort located at the heart of the Makati Central Business District.

The facility features carefully crafted spaces dedicated to fulfilling working executives’ most demanding lifestyle needs.

Envisioned as a members’ only club with a tastefully designed interior, it has three floors that cater to all the business, lifestyle and fitness requirements of every active business executive.

Those who would like to stay fit can spend some time in the Club’s fully equipped, state-of-the-art athletic complex, including indoor tennis, basketball, squash and badminton courts.

Members could even find relaxation and rejuvenation at its total wellness spa or lushly landscaped pool and Jacuzzi areas.

For important business talks and even confidential negotiations outside the office, private and full-service function rooms are available for such meetings or events.

For a daily serving of leisurely but affordable meals, members can choose one of eight specialty restaurants, while allowing their children to enjoy the playground, Wii and game rooms.
