MANILA, Philippines – Megaworld Corp. is expanding San Antonio Residence, its upscale residential project in Makati City.

The company will add 478 additional units that will comprise the development’s “East Wing.”

According to the plan, the East Wing will feature the Morning Sun units.

Sizes range from 26 square meters for the studio units and 93 square meters for the three-bedroom units.

Eugene Em Lozano, VP for sales and marketing of Megaworld Makati Group, said the project is targeted for completion in 2020.

Amenities include an infinity pool, pool lounge and deck, hideaway yard, street fitness park, kids’ zone, function rooms, fitness center, dance studio and the Parent-Kid B.O.N.D (Begin-Open-Nurture-Discover) Area, a first-of-its-kind for a residential condominium development.

In 2015, Megaworld launched the 40-story San Antonio Residence, with 478 units.

“San Antonio Residence’s West Wing is now 90-percent sold and we still continue to receive inquiries about the project,” Lozano said.

Lozano said San Antonio Residence is targeting a wider market from millennials to young families.

The project offers diverse unit choices with flexible payment terms that are ideal for the goal-oriented smart investors,” he added.

Megaworld is targeting total P4.5 billion in sales for both wings, making it one of the company’s biggest residential condominium developments in Makati City.

Megaworld is one of the biggest property developers in the Makati Central Business District, the country’s premier financial center, with a total of 27 residential and office towers built today.

Its residential developments in Makati include Greenbelt Hamilton in Legazpi Village; as well as The Ellis, Three Central, Salcedo SkySuites and Paseo Heights in Salcedo Village.

The company started its commercial and retail business when Eastwood City was established in 1999. Recognized as the Philippines’ first urban township and cyberpark, Eastwood City in Bagumbayan, Quezon City is now home to almost 25,000 condominium residents and around 70,000 BPO and office workers.
