MANILA – Max’s Group said Thursday it was bringing its Yellow Cab Pizza chain ti Vietnam, as it expands its overseas footprint.
The restaurant operator said it signed a development agreement with Vietnam’s Blue Star Food Corp. to open at least 12 Yellow Cab stores in the Southeast Asian nation within five years.
“This reaffirms the global mainstream appeal of some of our brands. As we prepare to launch Yellow Cab Pizza, we will constantly seek opportunities to broaden our reach within the region,” Max’s Group president Robert Trota said in a disclosure to the stock exchange.
Blue Star operates 45 Baskin Robbins ice cream outlets in Vietnam, according to the disclosure.
Max’s Group aims to have at least 200 international stores by 2020.
