ArthaLand taps foreign partners for premium Cebu office building

MANILA, Philippines – ArthaLand Corp. has signed agreement with China Railway Dongfang Group and Knusford Berhard of Malaysia for a $166 million engineering, procurement and construction contract for its  38-story Cebu Exchange Project.

China Railway and Knusford will form a joint venture company in the Philippines to execute the EPC contract.

“The collaboration among the three groups brings together strengths in design, building construction, project management and expertise in the Philippine property sector,” ArthaLand said.

The Cebu Exchange Project is a Grade A office building in Cebu that will rise on an 8,440-square meter property across the well known Cebu IT park.

China Railway is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Railway Group Ltd. while Knusford Berhad is a Malaysian listed construction company.

ArthaLand’s ongoing projects include the Century Pacific Tower, an office project in Bonifacio Global City, the Cebu Exchange Project, the Binan Laguna Project, a residential development in Makati and a commercial space south of Metro Manila Project.
